Re: New to Rangers - looking for upgrade path

Hi mate, 1. You will never get the speedo 100% with 20inch rims. An adjust can be made which will still help a little though, you will need Forscan for this or hit me up when you are ready and I can complete for you. Jaycar module will not cut it in this case as everything is Canbus based. 2. I noti...

Re: Hi guys

3rd party scantool, Ford IDS or Forscan. Forscan is your cheapest option though. Basic scantools will only clear PCM DTC's.

Re: Hi guys

Use Forscan to check for fault codes on the BCM first, then reset faults codes on this module.

Re: Hi all forum newbie

Pre face lift as in it is running PX1 modules? If yes then you cannot make the required modification. Either way if you run good quality LED's that have good quality canbus modules then you should not get faults anyway.

Welcome

Ditch the elm and get the OBDlink or an ELS27, you will not regret it.

Did you install the ARB tank yourself?

Thanks,

Rick.
Yes mate. Make sure to get the dish washing detergent out and make those straps really slippery and it will go in so easy. I did mine at the time on a dirt covered carport without an issue.

I think you will find not having any weight in the back will be the problem.

Try and take some vehicles for a drive that fit what you are looking for and see what you think.

Re: Hi from Brisbane

Good advice Gerry. Also throw all of this http://www.liqui-moly.com.au/diesel-injection-cleaner-with-anti-knock-2789/ in half a tank of diesel. Yes I overdosed. When I was having issues the other week I gave it a go. Its basically a combination of alkanes, oils and a cetane booster. Yes you could ma...

Re: Hi from Brisbane

How many KM on the odometer?

What fuel do you use?

I bought Caltex Vortex this week and have dropped 1.3 litres per 100 vs no name fuel.

Use the latest version of Forscan. In the latest version I have added them in as non asbuilt options so its as easy as enable disable.

Re: Hi - just found this forum

The changes you can do will be listed in Forscan one you download your required boot loader file.

The are no further options for a PX1 than the preselected items listed in forscan. Do not hand modify asbuilt on a PX1 or BT50 as you will most likely just cause issues.

Re: G'Day from Millicent

You will have pre made settings for tyre size on a PX1 in Forscan or even the dealer tool. The programming is different to a PX2 so you will be limited in what you can and cannot do. You will be looking at the non asbuilt BCMii section in programming where after downloading the correct calibration f...

Hi Will. Can you please check the device you registered on yesterday. I would say your device is compromised and has malware as there was spam left on the forum using your username, hence why your account was deleted.

Basically some 3rd party had your username and password.
