Thanks for the write up Jonathon. Glad you got it all sorted in the end.
Maybe make a new post in the Wheels and Tyres area and copy this info across, it may be of help to someone at some stage.

Just run parralells on the Mac. You will then need to install a windows XP + virtual machine. Forscan can run within this or convert the Mac to dual boot OSX and windows which is what I do.
There are no OSX apps.

Welcome.
Silent mode will not help your radar issues.
On your next service, advise Ford there is an update to the CCM, have this update performed and a realignment and it should see those issues fixed.

I don't believe the new wheels have the TPMS sensors in them. You will need to buy the sensors from Ford, have them installed in the wheels then follow the training procedure as set out in the instructions I sent. Sensors should be awake while trying this so drive for a few minutes and retry. Its po...

Hi guys, Been prowling Ford Everest Club Aus FB page and looking for info on using Forscan on my Everest. This site has been mentioned as a wealth of knowledge. Would greatly appreciate any advise on where to start with this endeavour. Regarding ODB2 to USB module, which would be best for Windows 1...

I think you will find they read the vehicle fault codes when they done other work and found the glow plug faults. There is a TSB about it but it is not a recall. If they are saying that amount of time then they are doing the lot which is good for you. It will include new plugs, gaskets, one of the f...

I believe Ford/Mazda's IDS software calculatioms for the PID are wrong. You could tell them a 100 times and it would be lucky if it is ever fixed. This is not the first time there has ever been an error in the software either. Scangauge and UG codes I have listed are are correct. I don't believe sca...

Nice write up!
Standard tyres going up a hill in a wet paddock on grass is bad, nearly sliding down a fence bad. I'm glad I had a winch and now am even happier to no longer have the standard tyres.
Enjoy.
