Re: Newbie to this Forum
Howdy. Like many before you have found out, that Obd2 scanner makes a better paper weight than a scanner. Seller won't return or help Stick with the proven product, OBDlink MX + Bluetooth The parameters they provide are usually based on overseas models, the Aussie model is different and temps could ...

Hi
Forscan is free, Windows version https://forscan.org/download/FORScanSet ... elease.exe
You will have to go to the main page and apply for a free licence which enables it to read all the modules

Re: New Solo Overlander Gal!
Not all scantools can do alterations so it would be good to know exactly what you have.
There is no list as such that I am aware of but there are many things that can be altered/improved
The fuel tank capacity can be changed, the on board computer then recalculates the DTE based on that figure.

Hi Shana That would be a great adventure and I wish you safe travels. At 700kgs that is a heavy canopy. Have you ever weighed the vehicle travel ready, must be close to maximum. If you have a laptop with preferably W10/11 and download Forscan you will get lots of info from this site. Happy travels &...

Re: G'day. Needing transmission temp PIDs
Your issue is that particular one doesn't read all modules. Another type from the same seller would probably have the same issue Quite a few have had the same problem and the seller won't refund This works great with the OBDlink app and will work with Torque Pro https://www.amazon.com.au/OBDLink-Pro...

Hi Travers.
Exactly which scan tool did you buy?
Some of the cheaper ones are great to use as a paper weight because they don't read all the modules

The golden rule is.....
Backup before you change anything.
Without knowing what you changed it maybe difficult to know how to fix it
Stuart is the only one who can help, you will need to wait for him

Hi Dale Unfortunately there isn't a lot you can change on a PX1 I don't know how many modules you should be seeing on a PX1, I am sure Stewart can tell you. You can't change tank size, 80 ltrs is it. The Smart Charger can be turned off, look for Battery Monitor Sensor and select Without Battery Moni...

Hi and welcome. Be wary when it comes to purchasing a reader, the cheap ones usually don't read all the modules. If you want to monitor then I suggest you get a quality reader. If you only want to make Forscan changes the the reader from this site is the way to go. https://saeb.net/wp/product/forsca...

Hi.
Trans Fluid Temp is a custom PID you will need to manually enter into one of the M gauges
If you go here https://www.saeb.net/viewtopic.php?t=58 and use the Custom PID Calculator you will get the info you need.
