Morning all,
Just purchased by first 4x4, a 16’ XLT. I’m looking to get a long range tank for it and I’ve been directed to this forum as I’ve been told there’s a way you can get the distance to empty metre recalibrated for the 140L long range tanks.
G’day

Hi.
Using Forscan you can change the tank size from 80lt to 140 lts.
The vehicle will re-calibrate itself after a few tanks.
The fuel gauge will not move until you have covered anywhere from 200 to 300 klms.
Accuracy is totally reliant on how well the float arm was bent when installed, a couple of degrees out will make a difference.
