hi there. 2019.75 ranger xl. looking to get the reverse camera working. figured out the plug under the rear of tub and wiring in tailgate

Hi, I am having difficulty with my Ranger px2 2016 XLT, camera started playing up & went black and now says contact dealer, I’ve been to the dealer two times and they don’t know what’s wrong and have charged my $165 to update my sync program to latest version in the hope that would fix the issue & nothing changed... then they say come back and they will try check it more and I did and still nothing, they just put a dent in my tailgate and messed up my badge clips & I got the shits and grabbed my car and exited the stealership before they just take me to the cleaners...

I have ordered a new camera in the hope that it will fix the issue, they said that they tried another one but I don’t believe them so I’ve got one coming from the wreckers as I have to see it myself...

Also, I’m new to these forums so I didn’t even know how to post a topic, sorry for replying on your post but it was the only way I could write something in the hope someone could read my problem and point me in the right direction with what I should do to fix my reverse camera issue.

Same way you posted here. Go to electrical and press new topic up the top.

Assuming you have made recent electrical changes then it will either be the camera or loom damage between the camera and the entry to the cabin.
