Hi everyone,
I'm probably the worlds oldest auto electrical T/A haha and am trying to learn a bit more about Rangers to help my young bro in law and also because I may get one myself soon... the first and immediate issue I am trying to tackle is disabling TMPS in his 2016 xlt... I have a Bluetooth OBD and have Forscan with an extended license... basically after any info on how to do it... thanks in advance 👍

G'day again Stewart
Mate attempted the mod and we appear to have successfully done it woohoo 👍... my Bluetooth OBD adapter is only a cheap Chinese one which doesn't allow access to the IPC (only BCM) as it doesnt have switching for HS and MS CANBUS which I believe is the issue... that being said on my extensive reaserch other blokes had said the BCM section only needed to be adjusted to acheive the TMPS dissable mod... I got into the BCM and made the one digit adjustment and the lights and warnings are now gone yay, so success ....I hope haha... I would be interested to know if you think I should/need to get a better OBD adapter and go back in to do the IPC section also and why, but at this stage it appears to be all good with just the BCM mod 😉👌.... thanks again so much for your help mate you are a bloody champion 👍

Only really need to make modifications in the IPC if you want to remove the TPMS menu.

Glad you had success.
