Still not a Ranger owner but getting everything lined up for the arrival. I will buy my Ranger in December when we are expecting a bit of a cash windfall. Looking at the Wildtrak for towing and touring duties. Also allocated 10k to add the essential extras.
I have had an assortment of 4wds in the past, first an FJ60 then a Range Rover and currently a PB Challenger, all were kept for a number years and the first two travelled around 500,000klm before being sold. The Challenger currently has 265,000klm and running well, Problem with the Challenger is the towing limit, just not high enough. Looking around the Ranger Wildtrak was the pick for towing duties as the Toyota 200 is just a bit over priced for me to justify.
So glad to have found this forum and all the information. Looking forward to getting my hands on another new vehicle and seeing some more out of the way places.
