Another newbie, "zeropoints"

I really hope i'm first time posting where i'm supposed to post. I'm a newbie in forum etiquette as well. I suspect the information flow will be all one way from you to me, as the sum total of my understanding could be written on a matchbox with a six inch paintbrush. Looking forward to fixing my lack of knowledge.
