Ranger Mods

Hi All, First post, have just upgraded my 2015 bt50 work/play vehicle to a 2021 xls dual cab. Have transferred canopy & other goodie’s over. Waiting on forscan adapter to arrive to see what it can access. I have fitted the tow module myself, lights work but I believe it has to be programmed in??? Also belive i may be able to add a caravan camera to existing sync & be able to keep on while driving.? Would also like to be able to toggle existing camera on while driving if possible as I can’t see out the back with the canopy on. I have a dcdc charger on dual batteries. Is it better to leave as a smart alternator or turn off. Charging is more important than any fuel savings as this is already out the window with canopy & roof rack.
Any help or a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
