That looks great and is much easier to read and understand than the original display. Do you have too many numbers in there though should it just be 720-04-01
Thanks again for all your work.

Cool, have not driven anywhere since Friday so will find out tomorrow. Nearly time to reassemble the dash again.

Good job, thanks. Will take the car for its first drive this weekend and make sure smoke doesn't come out.
Enjoy all.

Good work Stewart!!! Worked a treat. I did notice this changed the Trip Computer menu to 'Trip 1 & 2'; however changing the language to US and back to AUS changes it back to 'Trip Computer'.

Yep, language changes a few things. The alarm menu when exiting another. The wording at least on an Everest instrument cluster is totally different.

Hi Stewart,
What was the value before you changed it to 3 as when I changed it it asked about collision assist which I do not have so that enabled more than just 1 bit from me. Before and after value will allow me to see what bits are being changed in a binary calculator

PM me you vin and I will calculate it for you.
I have no idea what you had before hence why you need to backup first.
They are the pros and cons of so many variations. You know the first line in the ipc asbuilt data can have about 900 odd different variations and that is only one line.
For other reading, if you do not have Tech Pack and are having issues with changes then please remember to advise.

I'll get the VIN later, my value was 0 to begin with. I know that going from 0 to 4 changes 1 bit in an octet but going from 0 to 3 changes two bits in an octet.

Ah so bit 44 enables the new fuel menu and bit 45 enables Collision assist, good to know. I'll make the change this evening and give the fuel economy menu a whirl.

Its calculated over all. There are 4 features and 8 options in those 4 bits where the change is made, some have 3 features and some 2. So working it out be bits will not always work, also some features can use 2 bits or one nibble.

FWIW mine has always (well can't be certain it's always) displayed the battery when switched to ACC before I enabled dual battery mode. Still does it with dual battery enabled IIRC.

Hi Stewart,
Sorry if this is a bit OT. But this is nice place to discuss here since we have two sample pic of IPC, one showing a battery light icon and other(yours) doesn't.
I assume both cars are engine OFF and key ON since both have 0 L/Hr reading.
I wonder if this is a bug somewhere as I dont see my battery light icon as well in any condition(hope it lights up on the right time though.) Forgot if it was there before forscan stuff.
Hope you can shed light on this.
Thanks!
P.S. Same with my low oil pressure light icon, i've seen some post having low oil press. Lit on their IPCs.
