Qwerty Keyboard

If you want to use the English QWERTY keyboard here is the way to enable it.
Bring up the Navigation keyboard (IMG1)
Press on the world map to the left of the space BAR. (IMG2)
Select English QWERTY (IMG3)

Does it remember the keyboard selection though? I did this some time ago then having used Google maps for ages, had to use the ford system the other day and found it had forgotten my keyboard choice.

No it doesn't unfortunately... well mine certainly doesn't and it's a pain.
Tried using voice commands instead, but I reckon the car thinks I'm speaking Chinese.

I changed an Everest yesterday and it stayed on Qwerty.

My 20.25 Wildtrak won't remember the change after the vehicle is turned off.

None of them stay on Qwerty. Leave the ignition off for long enough and they will always revert.
There is a section in persisant data fie inside the Sync3 unit to remeber this but it never get written to file so never happens.
