Hi All,
I'll be honest, I've stayed away from forums for a long time as they got quite negative but I'll give them a try again. I've got a 2013 BT50 which is fairly standard, but does a 2017 tub on it after my 2nd battery cracked the tray. I had a set of drawers in there with the battery behind the left wheel, plus a canopy on top. After hearing a weird noise I got under the car and saw my battery half hanging out!
I sold the canopy and drawers and mounted a Optima under the rear seat plus fitted a then new 2017 tray with the better rear lights and a sportsguard tub liner. I travel with mountain bikes more than touring stuff now a days so not having a canopy suits me, plus we've got a caravan for travelling so I can fit everything we need in there.
