Ultragauge "E1"

As of yesterday afternoon driving in a massive rain and hail storm the Automatic Gearbox gear selection indication on my Ultragauge has shown a capitol E and small No.1 just in front of the selected gear as in for example if I'm in fifth gear "E1 5" - is there any reason for this ??

Unplug it and plug it back in, resolved?

Thanks for your interest and reply.
It just disappeared, The following morning ( yesterday ) when I started the car to go to do some shopping it was no longer there - it was very odd - do you have any idea why it was on the screen and what it was indicating ?

It's probably similar to some Forscan error codes.
The car drives and everything works, no lights or alarms.
Run Forscan and there are error codes so you clear them and they don't come back.
So why were they there in the first place?
Lots of electronics and things do go haywire now & then I guess

Just the odd bug where the device did not refresh the screen. Generally plug and unplug resolves it or ig off and on.
