Hi All,

20.25 Bi-turbo.

My rooftop light bar mutes Sync3 for 10-15 seconds when activated. The front mounted one does not.

Is this a thing? Anyone know what actually triggers a mute. Yes reversing, parking sensors etc. But an aftermarket light bar?

I,m thinking either the fitter used a wierd circuit to trigger relay or Sync3 has a voltage sensor somewhere.

Any thoughts?

Mate, my radio doesn't work at all with the roof light bar on... all interference.

Same issue as gerryp. Radio/elec interference with the roof top lightbar. Rather that than hit a roo or a cow

Is it only while using DAB?

I find when I'm on DAB it does but on FM then no issues.
This is probably because the Ranger is picking up the edge of DAB

Yep only DAB. But in good reception areas. Go figure.
