I'm looking into adding remote start on a '21 bronco manual trans.

here's my list so far

Remote Start via keyfob IPC 0720-02-02 xxxx F9--
Remote start enable BCM 726-30-01 xxxx xxx1 xx--
Remote Start Lighting Enable BCM 726-63-02 xxxx xxx1 xx--
Two-way Remote keyless entry enable BCM 726-66-01 xxxx xxx1 xx--

I'm fairly confident the BCM controls this, but upon further research, ford has a "VSS" module, which can add remote start as an "aftermarket" kinda plug in box, and that gets installed with a T-plug to tap into the Gateway Module. The VSS obviously has remote start capabilities including a physical jumper wire to enable remote start. since this only communicates thru the GWM, got me thinking there could be an enabler in that via forscan, but the f150 forscan spreadsheet doesn't list any info...anyone have any data for the GWM 716 module?

Here's a comparison of a few as-built lines that have my interest, but again I have no idea what they will change. Any ideas?

PCM will not have remote start capability into it being a manual vehicle. No factory Ford 'manual' even has remote start enabled in firmware. BCM in all has the capability but PCM will always not respond.

Nothing you will do in Forscan will enable something that is not in the firmware in the first place.
