Hi all,

I have enabled climate control on my IPC works fine in single zone mode, but in dual sone mode, the ipc displays the passenger temp but controls the drivers side? Is this due to the fact this screenis made for LHD vehicles and somethibg doesnt translate correctly to LHD?

INote the name for the menu, drivers climate.

The menu is not designed for dual zone. It will recify itself once you turn dual zone off.

It has nothing to do with LHD but is why it was not enabled by default.

Yeah i know that its drivers climate, but you would think in dual zone mode that it should still control the drivers side and not report the passengers side.
But i assume this has been used in a vehicle that is set up slightly differently which is why it doesnt work. Or is it likely something they intended to use, but it didnt work correctly and they scrapped the idea in final programming?

I wonder if you can program with forscan to inhibit Dual zone being activated and just make both temp dials control the drivers side (single zone mode)

It would just have been in the IPC firmware and may be enable in a different model in a different country. I don't believe it was ever intended to be used. The Mondeo used the same IPC at one point and the option was also disabled in asbuilt when they moved to dual zone.

From what I have seen the climate can be changed to single zone although I have never changed it to see what happens. If it is something you really want then I will add it to the list and supply the required asbuilt changes to do so when I have some time. I test changes before showing them so it will have to wait a little.
