Hi Guys,

Please note I am just a casual tinkerer, in the interest of transparency and giving back I am posting my findings.

I am in the early stages of playing around with Forscan PID's and movong into Torque Pro. I have managed to convert the setting "DPF_SOOT_LD (%)" for use in Torque Pro (same should work for OBDLink).

I only travel a small distance each day ~15 minutes each way to work. I am finding my DPF never seems to have time to complete the regenerate process. There is a lot of discussion on when it happens, speed EGT etc etc so I thought I would test for myself tonight.

I entered the Eastlink at Burwood Highway and exited at the Wellington road exit, and continued to the Caltex on Stud Road where I stopped for milk and to take screen Shot. (approx 7 - 10 min drive Max.) as I entered the highway My DPF_SOOT_LD (%) was at 39% I used sports mode and kept the engine revs above 2000RPM for the majority of the trip. I can confirm that a regen took place due to the following - EGT rose to above 550 degrees and stayed constantly above that unless I came to a stop. The DPF_SOOT_LD (%) was reducing in real time and by the time I had stopped, fumbled around trying to get my camera to work my EGT's were still at 540 degrees and my DPF load had reduced to 19%.

I will continue playing with other PID's and come back with more details.

Thank you

There are other options for DPF I have not released as yet, they may or ma not be in Forscan as I have not looked.

At some point I will give PID for;
Distance travelled for the current or most recent DPF drive to clean event
Engine running time for the current or most recent DPF drive to clean event
Odometer reading at the start of the current or most recent DPF drive to clean event
Distance travelled for the previous DPF drive to clean event
Engine running time for the previous DPF drive to clean event
Odometer reading at the start of the previous DPF drive to clean event

Tell me your format UG, SG, OBDlink or Torque and I will add to this list. The assumption is it will be multi so may only work in OBD, Torque and the latest firmware version of SG.

Is there an Ultragauge conversion of the DPF_SOOT_LD (%) ?
