Having run the gerryp leaf flip for several years I think it is easily one of the simplest cost effective moss on the ranger. Both for lift and load. I've taken my ranger all over Australia towing and not towing, loaded for camping and touring. The leaf flip works extremely well off-road and on.

Mining an old thread here however just completed this mod was a bit of a bitch in the ground a hoist would help a lot more. It has helped raised the rear by about 50mm. When people do this do they add anything to the front to try level it out a bit?

With all my weight in the rear I am probably only sitting about 10-15mm above what factory is it just looks a little off.

Interesting to see what it's like with a van on the back. I have a set of bags to help with that also.

I fitted 10mm strut spacers to mine. Lifted it about 20mm. There are different sizes available, just be aware that the lift will be at least 1.5 times the spacer thickness.

So I have noticed a slight vibration around the 10-15km hour range accelerating and decelerating I can only assume it is the tailshaft.

From what I have read you can flip the centre bearing 180 and you can also get a spacer kit for about $50 and fit that.

Can someone confirm what I believe to be correct?

From the centre of my hub to the wheel arch from factory is 600mm with the leaf flip and depending on the weight in my tub I am sitting at about 620-630ish if I were to add more weight to the rear tub and it came down to 600mm should the vibration stop or does it not work like that?

I am just trying to get my head around all this before I start throwing money at it unfortunately I need a band-aidish solution as I am height restricted by my garage and I don't want to have it end up too high and have to park on the street.

There are existing threads that discuss tailshaft vibrations in detail. Suggest you search them out.
