I'm looking forward to seeing the new Ranger Raptor and perhaps what happens in the aftermarket as a result. Coil/disk rear and with full-time 4wd and longer travel suspension could be worth trading in the WIldtrak I reckon, although it's unlikely to be cheap. 90-100k maybe? I know it's early days, but is anyone here seriously thinking about one?

10 speed transmission would be nice also. Anyway it will be nice to see what info we can pull from these vehicles.

Buy a smashed Everest, use the coil rear end and change the transfer car for full time 4wd. I think Ford will have a backorder for front control arms for years to come. Everyman and his dog will want them I think.

I've been wondering about that option too... maybe 10k+ for those parts here. I reckon the aftermarket will replicate the control arms pretty quick. It'll be interesting to see what shocks they come with too.

I'm thinking Bilstein. I doubt we will get Fox or the sorts as the $ sign will come into play. The US can sell 100K of trucks where we might sell 10k, time will tell. Or we may go high end and get Munroe Gas instead of just oil.

I dunno. I reckon to wear the Raptor badge it'll need something a bit special, and the GM Colorado ZR2 competitor got Multimatic DSSV... I'm thinking Fox 2.5 internal bypass, or maybe that Supashock option that Tickford didn't use. We'll have to wait and see though...
