SSM 46763 - Ranger Vehicles Built from 2011 – Uneven Rear Ride Height Exceeding 20mm Difference
Some Ranger vehicles built from 2011 may experience an uneven ride height at the rear of the vehicle. Should a vehicle present with the above condition, technicians are advised to measure the vehicle ride height both front and rear. For additional information, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM) Section 204-00 Suspension System - General Information, General Procedures, Ride Height Measurement. If theride height measurement identifies a difference of 20mm or greater, replace therear springs with 1 positive (part number EB3C 5B669 D1C/F1C) on the low side and 1 negative (part number EB3C 5B669 D2C/F2C) on the high side. For additional information, refer to WSM Section 204-02 Rear Suspension, Removal and Installation, Spring. Please use service labor operation number 5560A4T from the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) manual and refer to this SSM when completing a claim.SSM: 46763
