Simultaneous Ultragauges

Bit of dicking around but I got this to work.

Now to add more custom gauges and look at printing out a custom 3d case at work to fit both internals inside, so a custom all in one solution that will have 16 custom gauges on screen at all times. I do love a hardware solution as it is always on and there is no problems with dongles etc.

Is that using an OBD double adapter? I successfully did that in a previous vehicle where I had both the Scangauge and an ELM327 running at once off the same (only) port. Bought the double adapter cheap on ebay.

Just one in each OBD port Gerry but yes you could use the double adapter from one port.

Ultragauge and Scangauge is not really a problem and works well. Problem with the 2 x Ultragauge is they scan the bus on startup and they can conflict and loose communication. Ultragauge will not do any firmware modifications either which tells me they just have them made now with no input to code changes anymore or it was a clone of something else at some point in time.

So do you recommend that users have two Ultraguages or is it too hard or hit and miss to get them working together?

I want two units for what I like to view so it's more a personal choice than a recommendation.

Hit and miss will mainly be if the units are unplugged. I will play more later but do have them running together without an issue at this point in time.
