I actually just did this 2min ago after seeing it mentioned on Newranger.net

Saeb is of course once again the one that came up with the info so thanks once more Stewart.

You'll need to follow the Forscan instructions he's posted here: http://www.saeb.net/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=14
That'll get you the hardware needed to connect to the vehicle along with the software and necessary licence.

Then it's a simple change:

Change line 720-05-01 in the IPC module from E078 0342 00CA to D8B8 0342 0002 and write the change.

Works a treat. Should've been that way from the start.

Hold tight guys. Don't use full lines of code as you could break cars that may have different options. I had one of these at the meet and had to re-write everything back to default and start over.

Use 720-05-01 xxBx-xxxx-xx changing only the one item (B). At the moment you probably have a 7 instead of a B.

Always refer to the spreadsheet and change what I have listed to be changed. Link http://www.saeb.net/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=7

I planned on updating it last week but the week was rough so this week it is.

D8B8 0342 0002 will enable Sirius amongst other things that we do not have in Australia.

Thanks for making the effort though apsilon, as it is always welcome.

Ahh, I'll have to change mine then. Thanks for picking that up. I took that direct from your build thread over on newranger.net when I saw it mentioned so I guess that's no longer up to date.

A lot of it was early days while still testing the IPC. Since then I went through every bit available and updated my own notes.

Trying to go back and find old posts and updates over there is time consuming.

What you see here especially on the sticky threads should be up to date.

Understandable. You've done so much work on this and I'm very grateful. Just changed it to the "new" version. Takes longer for my notebook to boot than it does to make the change.

Add the Auto Trans temp to the Scangauge while I was out there.
