Still haven't tidied this thread but clearing codes on a dealers Ranger this afternoon I noticed the battery light on... I didn't have any time to look further as I was only there to replace my BCM. I will look into it further on a different visit.

In this position from factory it would only ever be a 0 or a 2 for an Everest or a Ranger at least with our current model Firmware. If you know f others let me know so I can have a look.

As of this point it has worked for everyone else so maybe it's your adaptor. Have you made any other IPC changes successfully? PM me your VIN so I can check your firmware revision against others.
Hi Stewart, I went to enable the new economy menu and looking at my previous changes I have enabling the "Silent mode" menu is also done on IPC line 720-04-01. The change being xxx4-xxxx-xxxx
New Econ menu works a treat with both enabled.
For reference, I don't have the battery icon showing, and I have Dual Battery mode disabled atm.
Thanks for another cool edit.
Russell.

Edit: Sorry Stewart, only just saw the revised info for the silent menu. I've now changed to "3xx7-xxxx-xxxx" to have both the silent mode menu & the new econ menu. Looks all OK from what I can tell.
Thanks.

I noticed that too - must go reset the language - thanks

Has anyone else noticed that fuel economy will creep up when at idle?

Correct, it changes the wording in numerous menus.

It makes sense as the vehicle is not moving. You are using .7 to 1.2 Lph and without adding Km so I would always expect an increase.

Which is basically the same in metric. Litres per hour when not moving and litres per 100 when moving.

Hi Stewart (or others), I have a 21.75 Everest. In Forscan, IPC module has two options, 'instant fuel economy display' which options of bar or numeric, and 'Instantaneous fuel economy numerical gauge' with options of disabled and enabled. Both seem to bring up the new display. Is one more correct than another? Or are they both doing exactly the same thing to the car?

Probably my original naming convention and then they combined all their cluster data so some doubled up. Use either or...
