So what if i have a dec 2012 model with the exact problem and fault codes? Think Ford will recognise and cover?

Probably not as the TSB is only for
2015-2017 Everest | Endeavour Engine: 3.2L Duratorq-TDCi (148kW/200PS) - Puma
2015-2017 Ranger Engine: 3.2L Duratorq-TDCi (148kW/200PS) - Puma

The above procedure has since been done on mine, took them a day and said it's a pain of a job. I no longer have the fault codes.

I found this one in your other links, same fix but the range of vehicles appear more. How do i tell if my vehicle falls within those "truck" definitions?

Its plausible. Print out the SSM and take it in and ask. I can not tell you any more than that unfortunately.

Well answer from Ford was my car isnt covered by the SSM or TSB. So despite having the faults that both cover my car isnt apparently "affected" by this problem. By god Ford are a frustrating company to deal with!

G'day All
Finally got the chance to hook the Ranger up to Forscan, everything looked good except for 2 DTCs P0672:00-6C, P0673:00-6C.
Code: P0672 - Cylinder 2 Glow Plug Circuit / Open
Status:
- DTC Maturing - Intermittent at Time of Request
- Malfunction Indicator Lamp is Off for this DTC
- Test not complete plug open circuit

It has been a bit rough on idle at first start (not what I would call bad though), but no white smoke that I've noticed (Then again it's far from cold here at the moment). Honestly I wouldn't of really known until I hooked op Forscan.
The DTC's do clear, but if I hook up Forscan again the DTC's Re appear.

is this what others may have seen re this TSB?

Cheers
Rob

Basically, take to Ford, tell them a code has been read in relation to the glow plugs and that you have been advised of a TSB for them to be replaced. They will scan and hopefully book you in to sort.

Ford dealer checked and confirmed faulty Glow plugs. TSB was done without issue. Thanks for making all this info available to us Stewart,

If in warranty yes. TSB is not a have too, it is a service bulletin that they may act on.

Do these TSB's apply to vehicles out of warranty?

Not likely as it is not a recall. Hit your dealer up and see how you go.
