Okay here's one for the electronic technics, how do I initiate my front and rear side lights to operate as "running lights" and turn on and off with the ignition.
Quite frankly I'm appalled that on a 2017 model this feature isn't standard and mandatory - that is on my Wildtrak the front and rear lights do not illuminate automatically with the cars ignition.
Coming back from Lightning Ridge yesterday it was noticeable that the conspicuous on-coming traffic had theirs on, or were fitted with running lights as standard most of them being European vehicles with LED's. I personally think that running lights are one of the biggest safety factor in being seen by other traffic.

On a different note(s), out of curiosity and being a newbie Ford Ranger Wildtrak owner I noted that there were more Rangers driving north than there were Toyota's, Isuzu's, Mazda's, Nissan's or Mitsubishi's - so much for the Ford Ranger knockers.

I was towing a 6x4 box trailer and my 15,000 kilometre old Wildtrak averaged 13 litres per 100 kilometres over both north to south and south to north journeys - not bad at all ! My average set speed was (on a lazy cruise control) 93 kph, the engine coolant temp sat at 85 degrees, maximum EGT was just over 425 degrees driving up Cherry Tree Hill with a boost pressure of 24 psi. The total duration of both legs, 20 very pleasant hours.

Okay, my ignorance - what is the TMT ? Bur seeing as I had to ask I'll all but guarantee I never consciously checked it. I do know that the intake air temperature was around 15 degrees up to just before Lithgow when it dropped to around 8 degrees. If the (TMT) is something to do with the transmission fluid temperature that never went above 85 degrees the same as the engine coolant temperature.

Yes, as in Parkers, okay I'll venture into Forscan and see if I can make it happen -- as I said I'm apauled that this isnt a standard thing, driving with running lights is a safety issue.
