At some stage i have to put on running lights for four wheel driving, plus i think it would be a bonus around the city. Got all excited when i watched a Ford clip that shows you how to do it via settings, RHS contol , until i actually tried to do it as there was no sub heading for running lights on a 2018 Ranger

Has any one set up running lights via forscan or swapped out their fog light globes with Stedi leds and mechanically switched them to driver lights?

OK Saeb, what do i have to purchase to make this happen, bearing in mind i have been reading these posts since November and am still ignorant as to how Forscan operates :)

Search DRL. There is at least 200 posts about it :)

You will want the Forscan dongle and the DRL pin kit to achieve what you want to do.

You can wire the pin kits through 100 lights if you want as long as you use a relay. If its only a couple of LEDs then you will not require a relay.

Keep in mind that DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) only work with the switch in the auto position and will turn off if the headlights come on.
