Video on 8" Screen PX MK2

Has anyone been able to work out a way to play video from a phone or media device on the 8" screen?
It can be added to sync 2 with some splicing but it is factory video so will turn off when you’re driving.
There are 3rd party modules that come out of Thailand and China, some cheap and some expensive. Do a google search for sync 2 or 3 video input module and you should get something.
