Just curious how you can enable the sign recognition on sync 3
I cant find any information on it and i believe the speed sign display on the left cluster screen is from GPS only

Thanks in Advance

More than likely yes, but it's best to send him a pm with your details.

Hey guys are there pro's and con's to this. The reason i ask is all streets in Brisbane that dont have as speed sign on them are classed as 50kmh. So if i turn off a street that is an 80kmh into a 50khm with no sign it wont adjust so what would be the advantage of this. Also where i live there are signs out here that just say END 80kmh and thats it. So again the recognition wont change.
But alot of people are raving about this mod so just asking am i missing something???

So you go through a construction sign in an 80kph area and you miss it, what then? If you are a driver that sees every sign and is 100% the perfect driver then no, this will not apply to you.

This is a message from a member who's vehicle I worked on 2 weeks ago.

"The TSR just saved me from sure ticket. Cops hiding behind roadworks pulling people over. I honestly didn’t see the sign as I assume the other motorists didn’t see either. Total stitch up.
My dash started flashing and I slowed immediately and drove past the cops."

Thanks again Stewart and Ross for TSR setup, works great. Only issue is it doesn't pick up 25km/hr signs (roadworks) is this normal? It picks up the end roadworks sign (original speed limit) and 40km/hr roadwork signs just not the 25km/hr signs.

I've noticed the same thing, so I assume it's normal. I reckon the problem is that SA is the only State that has 25kph speed limits, all other States use 40kph through schools and roadworks. It was obviously programmed by an eastern stater who considers SA as being unimportant... :o  ;)

Strange as mine picks up 25kph signs and all others.

It did take a while to recognise 130kph signs but after passing several it now reads them OK.

it's a real pain as 25km/hr was the one I was hoping for the most with the amount of roadworks going on. Originally I thought maybe the signs were too low but then I realised it was picking up the 40km/hr signs and the end of the roadworks so it's not because they are so low. i have passed quite a few 25km/hr signs but still not reading them. It did pick up a 10km/hr sign in the carpark at work though

I had one 25 kph sign that could not be read in SA on the weekend, I would need to drive back and look but the lettering did look thinner than the other signs. Apart from that I have never seen a 25 kph sign in Vic so have never noticed before.

Had one of these come up on the way back through Melbourne the other day, (no over taking) which was cool.

When TSR was done on mine, I got the 2 circles in the display. The rhs one displays the speed sign, but what does the other one show? I've never seen anything displayed in it.

In more densly populated areas you may see the signs roll through, left being the newest. Or in the case above I had the speed limit in the right circle and the sign aboe in the left.

This can also occur when there is a 40 or other sign with writing under it which may display as the sign with bars at the bottom then hitting the next speed sign with show in the left.

A lot of it comes down to distance between signs. PX3 does hang onto the signs a lot longer than a PX2.
