Proximity sensors overriding audio

Hi,

I have a 2017 PX2 3.2L Ranger.

My issue is the Proximity sensors. Specifically how they mute audio when beeping/alarming.
When they stop beeping either because i have finished parking, or moved away from whatever set them off, sometimes my audio (including voice on a call if i am on one) does not come back on. (I have to manually turn up the volume, that has been turned down to 0 by the car).

This has happened from day 1 with the car, but i put up with it as i have had a work vehicle for the past few years, and it didnt happen every time, but now i am driving it more frequently, and i wanted to see if there is a fix to still have the sensors alarm, but over the top of the audio, instead of muting it.

I know i can turn off the proximity sensors each time i turn the car on, but i dont mind the sensors themselves, just how the car treats the way they alarm.

Thanks

There is no fix.

I may spend sometime looking at the calibration file but it is time intensive and not a huge priority.

Thanks for responding. I had a feeling that would be the case.

Seems to be an unfortunate oversight on Fords behalf, but considering other things they do/don't do, it is not surprising.
