These are my findings using OBDLink MX

I tried Stewart's custom PID, for tyre pressure, amps in and out & trans temp.

Initially the trans temp would only give me F readings even though I have C in my settings, but eventually it changed to Celsius.

The 4 tyre pressure monitors worked perfectly.

Amps in and Out worked well.

On initial start it was putting out around 50 amps, dropped back to 30 in a short time then back to 10 to 20 and finally sat on 4 to 5 most of the time.

The car hadn't been used for several days so I guess initial running with high output was the reason.

The Engine Oil Temp didn't work even though it is a listed PID.

It didn't work in Torque Pro either.

My volt meter was @ 15v most of the time, but how accurate is that?

I did 200klm and had high beam, 2 led driving lights and 1 light bar on 75% of the time.

This all seems correct.

You will never get oil temp to work as the Thai built Ranger/Everest's do not have a compatible oil sensor. Our sensor is basically a switch on or off, ok or low. SA version vehicle have the sensor required for this due to oil life monitoring, oil heaters etc. as they can be seen in some very extreme environments throughout Europe.

Just because something is in any of those programs does not mean they exists in all Ford vehicle. They have a generic add a ton of extended Ford PIDS that may or may not work on a particular vehicle.

Volt meter on what?

It is a reading that is taken from the module that you are requesting it from so will be reasonably correct. You will get different voltage readings from different modules and I tend to get 14.2, 14.3 pretty much all the time.

I think the only way you will get true readings is directly from the battery with a quality tool to do so, the scantool is just displaying what the module reading the voltage is telling it to show and at the end of the day and I bet the voltage regulators will vary from vehicle to vehicle as it is all done on a budget.
