Is the stalk for the high beam have a switch that it activates when you swipe it forward, My high beam is coming on ok, but it doesn't sit on the high beam setting, When i let go of the stalk, it goes straight back off, So does anybody know is there a switch at the end of the stalk, or do i need to replace the whole thing..also, i did do the " bambi " setting with forscan, so have i done something myself that i'm no aware off..thanks...

Push the stalk forward and hold for 2 seconds. See if that helps.

i just flick mine forward for "on". if you pull the lever towards you it is only flash.

Has been the same for any vehicle that I have owned.

Have tried that m8, but will not stay on the "on" position, i just cant remember that when you flick it forward, does it not sit forward, and then you flick it back to the middle position for off ??

The stalk always returns to a central position after moving it forward or back.
Maybe push it forward a bit harder?.

Guys, does it run off a relay when you hit the stalk forward, or is it possible ive done something with forscan that i don't know about, Is there anything in one of the modules that can disable it, is there maybe something ive done ???

I've noticed with the Ranger that the once flicked forward it centres again and doesn't click into place like my Camry, so I assume that it triggers something in the BCM (or whatever module). In older cars there usually is a relay so it may pay to inspect them (under dash and under bonnet).

If you have auto high beam, maybe try switching that off through the dash and control switches on the steering wheel

Being you made a change to the BCM, put it back to standard and see if it resolves itself. 2 modules involved, BCM and SCCM.
