Hi all

I’ve searched but can’t find the detailed instructions for using ForScan to change the settings so the Distance To Empty displays correctly

Any chance someone can point me in the right direction

Thanks in advance

Maybe look here viewtopic.php?f=12&t=2074 if you want to change your tank size.

It is easy in Forscan.

What I’m after which I’ve seen on the forum is the instructions on how to use the FoeScan to change the tank size with the code

I just can’t find no matter how I’ve searched

Again thanks

Hi Scott, is this any help?

Fuel Tank Capacity
Module IPC 720-03-01 XXXX XXXX XXXX

e.g. XXX5 78XX XXXX
• 578 Hex converted to Decimal is 1400. If you divide this by 10 you will get 140 litres
• Original value would have been 320. 320 HEX converted to Decimal is 800. If you divide this by 10 you get 80 litres.
• If you have a 135 litre tank you would X 10 so 1350 Decimal and convert to HEX which is 546. So you would enter 546.

Yep

I’m also trying to get the post that shows the steps in ForScan to change the code

It's in the non as-built list for the BCM IPC.

So I would follow this guide to display the BCM non as-built options. viewtopic.php?f=12&t=7

I agree with Stewart, best and safest to use the non-asbuilt.

I was under the impression that Scott was after an odd size, hence the request "to change the tank size with the code".

Cheers

Just FYI you can enter any size you want in there Gerry. Can't remember at what but max is in the 200' somewhere.

Sorry, I should say the change in the non-asbuilt IPC and not BCM.
