'Lasfit' LED bulbs

I purchased some 'Lasfit' brand LED bulbs on eBay (from an Australian seller: etocargps) and fitted them yesterday. These were one of the few that I was able to find a beam pattern photo for that looked nice and sharp and similar to a conventional bulb. They are small and everything, including ballast, fits easily inside the headlight rear housing. Amazing light output...probably twice that of the stock bulbs and as I had hoped, a nice sharp cut-off line (although I will need to adjust the headlights down a little). I'm going to go ahead and replace the high beams and fogs with the same type. Just wanted to report on the success with these in case others are looking at LED's.

At the other end of the car, I tried some Philips Ultinon bulbs to replace the indicators, reverse and brake lights - unfortunately these were about half as bright as the stock bulbs, so back to the drawing board there.

Thanks for the info.

Are you 100% certain they will actually fit in the high beam holes? The bulb holder is offset to the weatherproof cap and this is generally the reason high beam is such a huge issue in these vehicles.

Stewart - I wasn't 100% sure and no, they don't fit. But at this stage it is because the collar around the base is a little too long. I am taking the dremel to them today and then I will see if there are any other fitment problems. But, I'm not too fussed either way. I use the low beam 99% of the time and high beam 1%. If I need to stick with regular bulbs in the highs, I can live with that. I'll just get the Philips Diamond Vision or similar, so the colour of the light matches. The LED's in the fogs make up for it anyway.

The link to the low beams is:
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/LASFIT-H11- ... 2749.l2649

They have three different types but this was the brightest and is the one I got.

Also, for tail lights etc - I purchased JW Speaker LED bulbs. Much brighter than the Philips Ultinon and brighter than stock bulbs. The indicators, reverse and parkers are particularly good and make a huge difference. No one will be able to say they didn't see you indicate! The dual output break light works but the difference between the two stages is not huge.

Thanks for the updates, I thought you would have issues. I basically did as you did as I have driving lights to compensate for high beam anyway.
