Hi. Hope this the right place to ask. The EGR in my Everest failed which caused significant downstream problems (engine replaced) do I am wondering if there are PIDs that can be used with a OBDLink MX+ to monitor performance. Saying this I am not sure what I should be monitoring ( temp, throughput, coolant levels. ). I am not mechanically minded so apologise for the apparent lack of knowledge.

If you are using an OBD mx+ with the OBDLink app there is a water temp PID in there from factory so a custom PID isn't needed.
Regarding the EGR itself there is a PID that tells you the percentage the EGR valve is open.
Go here viewtopic.php?t=6907 to view the calculator then select the PID which will be EGR Open Percentage then select your Device and the needed info will be created.
If it's open it must be working.

Engine Water temp is a good one to monitor, the factory gauge isn't very accurate
The EGR valve is water cooled.

Are. The list of PIDs within the OBD app or within Saeb.net

It is in the app.
Look for Engine Coolant Temp.
