Hey Stu

I hope you are well. Long time no see. I kind of moved in from my second Wildtrak after writing that one off too [emoji1751] sporting a MY18 Titanium Everest!! Anyway was wondering if there was a way to swap the switch on the right panel next to your knee where you disable the auto high beams with the switch on the end of the right steering column that turns lane departure on and off? Reason being is I do the Hotham run at night down the south gippy and need to turn auto high off often due to limitations with long distance gaps between me and the car in front...I've in fact nearly been in a road rage incident in myfirst px2 cause I couldn't turn the auto highs off...your thoughts?

Can't help you but you can turn off Auto High beam in PX2 & 3

Yeah thanks Ross...the Hotham run is half mountain where auto lamps are a necessity...and half highway where they're a pain in the ass...so having the ability to turn on and off auto high in the steering column instead of reaching down to the panel would be great...

On my XLS, you can turn the auto high beam off by pushing the lever forward as if you wanting it on while it's in auto high beam.
Turning it back on is the same way IIRC.
I don't recall having a switch to the right to disable it though, maybe it's different for higher spec models.

I have mine switched off as I have spot lights.

With the way you want to achieve it, the short answer is no.

I don't often run auto high, but I seem to recall that if I needed to dip while in auto mode, I just flicked the stalk to drop down to low. Might be wrong though...

Thanks guys. Appreciate your comments...I am thinking of putting the Kings 6 way touch panel switch panel in so was wondering if you could put a switch inline of the auto high off button at your knees... effectively having an extra off switch?

Am I missing something, where is this auto high beam off button? Do you mean when in manual on mode then auto high beam does not work? Never thought about it as disabled it in the cluster near on 6 years ago now.

Auto high beams are enabled and disabled through the cluster in settings/vehicle/lighting.

You 100% sure about that. Could have sworn it was your rear fog lights. Top left is generally front fog lights.

Manual has not changed for a MY21.75 and is still the same.

Only way to disable auto high beam is move the dial to manual headlights or turn off auto high beam in the cluster.

Have the front fog lights been removed and the switch used for driving lights.

Fog lights don't work when auto headlights are on so rear fog switching to on turns off hi beam.

Okay I've confirmed this tonight and would highly suggest you try it before rewiring things.

At night with the headlight on in Auto Mode.

Push the right lever forward towards the dash. This would normally keep the high beam on.
The Auto High Beam indicator will switch off, push forward again and high beam will switch off and Auto Mode is also off.

Push the lever forward again will activate Auto High Beam.
