Nav in motion on NZ Wildtrack 2018

So I have a Ford Ranger Wildtrak 2018 (Sync 3, NZ variant) and want to remove the nanny state keyboard lockout and so far have been unsuccessful. I updated the APIM module as follows
I guess the good thing is reverting the APIM module and doing a factory sync3 reset (I had to do a factory reset for it to work again) fixes everything as before.
Does this modification only work for US/Canada?
Has anyone successfully bypassed this feature with sync3?
It would seem from reading the other posts there is no direct setting for this "anti-feature". I mean lets be honest, I think it is safe for my passenger to at least enter a destination by keyboard
After completely shutting down sync (getting out of the car and locking it) and then booting it backup again it comes up with a yellow warning saying "navigation fault", I also noted that the time was -10 hours which is consistent with a country or time-zone modification (which I assume is what this is).7D0-02-01 5753 xxxx xxxx
