Ford have released 2022 ANZ maps

Is the only way to get them installed thru a ford dealership?

I upgraded my software & maps through Cyanlabs

If your Apim is 2020 or later you will not be able to use cyanlabs as you would need to reformat apim and 2020 Apim can’t be reformatted as it will be “bricked” by reformatting. But you could do it via fmods.net and jailbreaking your Apim

I have a 2021 px3, so guess i am out of luck

Unfortunately Ford have ESN locked the ANZ maps and the only way to upgrade is via Ford or jailbreaking the apim. downloading the maps from cyanlabs and creating a custom installation with the help of fmods.net. A fair bit of messing around to get it right and the possibility of messing it up. Best to just wait for Ford as your Ranger is still under warranty.

Recently had my PX3 serviced again at a Ford dealer. They upgraded the Sync Software but maps are still 119. I had a bit of a blue with our local delaer a couple of years ago about this, but the result was that I had to travel back to the dealer (1.5hours drive), wait an hour and drive home again. This last time I had the car serviced while visiting Perth and didnt think about the maps until now, when I'm half way across the country heading home to the East coast.
Has anyone ever had success in complaining to Ford about their dishonouring the contract to upgrade yearly for 8 years provided service is done at a Ford dealer (mine has).
