Not really Ranger or mod related but I was told about an app, tried it and I think it would be handy for all 4wd owners.

It's called Fuel Map Australia, and as the name suggests, it shows all fuel availability and prices Aust Wide.

It's been around for a while Ross, problem I find is that they are quite often way out of date with their prices, especially the country ones. Still good to see what is available though.

Hey Gerry. I didn't know about it and I found it good to be able to just find fuel.

I learnt about fuel pods here and this tells where they are.

For 30cpl cheaper fuel it's worth it.

On a side note don't bother trying to land a Yellow Tail Kingfish when you are set up for Mulloway, stopping a torpedo would be easier.

It is a good app, I think it relies on the people who use it to update the fuel prices.
I use it mainly for trip planing as it shows where the fuel is, and I use it to record my fuel used, also for trip planing.

Tony.

Victoria is probably one of the worst for up to date prices. It is possible the app will pull data from the states that made it law to have fuel prices online but apart from that community input is always an unknown.

For the locations of service stations it probably is a good idea but back it up with the BP, Woolworths, Coles, Etc. apps for locations and maps also.

Try the 'Petrol Spy' app. Fuel prices can be updated by user and date shown when last updated. My preference window is Premium diesel, therefore all stations show that price, click on site then all fuel prices shown including phone number and directions.

Yes I tried that as well and I like it more than the other one.
