Hello, I have a 2018 XLS and wondering if its possible to upgrade the instrument screen (pixel type) to the new colour screen on the 2019 XLS?

Should not be a problem to use either MY15+ and MY19 cluster.

Thanks for reply! So would just replace whole cluster? Would the electrical plugs be the same and would any adjustments need be made in forscan?

I would just read existing cluster asbuilt then write it back to the new one. If you have any problems after installing then send me the VIN. Plugs are the same.

Once you do it if you want to get rid of the old one, feel free to donate to my box of bench testing.

One other thing is if the ODO is higher on the new one then it needs to be changed manually. I can reprogram to a lower ODO, after that it can be programmed to correct ODO by Ford or it possible it's in Forscan now I have not check. Either way it need to be lower than the original to match your existing cluster.

hey i have a 2015 PX2 XLS and was wondering if i could swap my cluster for an XLT ( with the lcds on eather side of the speedo)one i know the sync 2 probbly wont be able to display stuff and no lane assist but as my cluster taco gets stuck from time to time id rather have a nicer cluster.
