Torque TPMS

Hi all

Tyre pressure readings are handy to have, and Torque makes it easy to set them up. On older versions of the app you'd need to add your own PIDs and figure out the calculations, but the current version (since 1.8.150) has these built-in.

Go to Settings -> Manage extra PIDs/Sensors
Tap the menu and select "Add predefined set"
Select Ford and you'll get a bunch of new PIDs in the list.

Exit out of that and go to Realtime Information to add the tyre pressure gauges to the Dashboard.

Scroll through the list and add:
[FORD]Left front Tyre pressure
[FORD]Left rear Tyre pressure
[FORD]Right front Tyre pressure
[FORD]Right front Tyre pressure

I've been using Small Digital Gauges, with high/low warnings set above and below my road/sand pressures respectively.

You may want to verify the tyre positions by adjusting pressure on each tyre and checking which gauge reflects the change.

If there's any interest I can put together a Ranger PID list to import rather than having to scroll through all the generic [FORD] items.

Great job Richard. Keep an eye out in the SG, UG and PID forums as I will be adding some new PIDS for you to try out. You will have to sort the maths for now.

I knew someone would wonder :) Torque uses the sensor in the phone for pitch roll.

Is this app available for iPhone or is there a similar app for iPhone that can do this?

I have never found one that is as thorough. Use Forscan for iPhone for reading information. I think it has a dash too.

Anyone knows for Fomoco TPMS Valve Sensor part no for Everest 2015?
Can support with below part no with 433MHz?
EV6T-1A150-CB
EV6T-1A180-CB
EV6T-1A180-DB
EV6T-1A180-DC

EV6T-1A180-CB
EV6T-1A180-DB
EV6T-1A180-DC

CB, DB, and DC should just be revision numbers so EV6T-1A180 should be what you need.

Also I think you have a Thai local model? So TPMS will have to be enable and sensors programmed to vehicle before they will work.

Awesome, I will do it with my car in Thai soon.

Keep an eye on the OBDLink software section as the PIDS I put there should work with Torque too.

Different part numbers to the Ranger ones?
I need a full set for second set of wheels, will that TPMS19 work for the 2016/17 models?

sent email to Ford for part numbers but nothing back yet.

cheers

Same. It's the same system in both vehicles.

Just go in they know what they are and sell them by the bucket load.

Probably Pro only. But you could email the developer.

If it is something that you want just pay the $5, it's pocket change for the time that the developer has put in.

Or if you have the OBDlink then use their software as the license is included free of charge.

yeah setup pid on OBDlink that you generously supplied just need to test it.

would the same Pids formula work in Torqe, still comparing the 2 apps to work out which one I will stick with

I have added these PIDs in torque and they aren't receiving any information for some reason. Pretty well every other Ford specific PID works though, any ideas? Cheers for any assistance.

Possibly the dongle you are using.

Post screen shots of one of the custom PID tons sensors you have added.
