As an off-road trainer I have seen many OEM implementations of Traction Control and how effective they are. Best so far is Toyota Prado, worst ISUZU D-Max (thats some scary stuff there).

It would be great if there were settable parameters to tighten up the reaction times on Traction Control in Low Range. I am invisaging a sampling rate of wheel rotation, wheel rotaion variation across the axles and through the transfer case. Engine rev's or some transmission PID's on power output.

Has anyone come across anything that suggests this may be possible? Or is it all contained in the ABS module (likely) and cant be seen.

Thoughts anyone?

Nothing that is changable, no. It is all written into the modules firmware.
