Where is a good place to pull 12v from (ignition on) for my Stedi Daytime running lights?

Why not pull the proper feed from the BCM? Then activate using Forscan so they work on the auto setting and go off when the lights come on.

It will also work with any ignition feed as suggested, but run it via the NC contacts of a relay which is then switched by your lights to turn the DRLs off when you turn on the parkers or headlights. Pretty sure that's the legal requirements in most/all states (?).

What is actually involved with installing the drl pigtails? From memory I don't think i have wires at the lighting plugs for drl. Does the pigtail get plugged into the bcm and is it an easy install? What load can this pinout handle?
