Ultragauge for viewability and auto paging, also 8 gauges per page if desired not 4.

Only negative on Ultragauge is 8 custom PIDs vs 30? for Scangauge but being that they are a pain to select or find afterwards still puts Ultragauge in front.

Hey Scott, where did you buy it from?

Aussie flyer

Got it off https://www.preciseauto.com.au/ they say they are the OZ importer and give full backup service. They were quite open that some rangers they have had problems with but have a fix which the code in to fix a volt err. They say if it doesn’t work they will give a full refund

They believe the rangers with ecu mods seem to be most of the ones having issues?? BUT they say some times it just seems to be a vehicle.

You can import from the US at about say about $aud 180 but no after sales service and they say the US suppliers are fairly slack at responding.

So I bought Australian😀

Glad you got it sorted.

There has been a volt err that I'm aware of and the importer cannot change anything internally to make a difference as they are just buying and reselling. I would say they are importing generic version where if the Ford Can option is selected on the UG site there is never any error.

At the end of the day you are a happy camper and that is what matters. Enjoy.

I have had constant issues with my UltraGauge EM Plus - needs resetting at varying intervals from months to days after screen corrupts. Has drained battery once after being left in this state as it wont turn off with ignition. Only reason I have persisted with it is the TPMS values and A/T temp when towing.

Can't say I'm ever used the EM Plus as from what I read it has less features than the MX. Never had an issue with an MX.

Do a full factory reset of the unit.

Yes it clears everything which is a pain but it should resolve the issue.

Something has triggered in my brain on a unit I was playing with years ago that did the opposite and would not turn on and that resolved it.
