Ranger Mods

We have 2 rangers in Family. I have disable door ajar alarm on one and have no alarm with key in on any position. The other one I still get alarm on accessories with door open. Any help would be appreciated.

3 options.

1. Ask Ford on your next service to disable the chime. Benifet of this is you will get the latest IPC update.
2 . Look at the spreadsheet viewtopic.php?f=12&t=7 and change door ajar with Forscan.
3. Wait for the update to Forscan and click a few buttons as it will be added.

From what I can see of your asbuilt, partly modified, you have an Automatic with Tech Pack ( Forward Facing Camera )? If this is the case then use the above.

Change the code then put the wire back on. It is used to prime the fuel pump when the key is inserted into the ignition. A little known fact.

Good to see you got it all sorted.

is there an easy answer why my ranger I had to change 2 lines and old mans only changed 1 to get same result. same vehicle built month apart.

2 different chimes in 2 different locations.

He may have had an IPC update done at Ford which already changes one line and add 2 blocks or he changed it before hand.

You will know if the IPC has had an update depending on how many blocks you have. 9 blocks is current and 7 was before the update.
