I joined some time ago but am only just now really looking at this info and starting to get my head around it.

I have a Ranger and an Escape both with Tech packs and although I was only going to keep them three years if they both keep going as well as they are I will keep them longer.

Purchased an MX+ Bluetooth through Amazon for $129.95 which seems like a reasonable price but have only had a quick look at the Ranger on my phone so far. I used it on a friends Saab and it worked fine.

Im a mechanic by trade and used Kenworth and Volvo programmes and plenty of machinery that lists DTCs on their dash but have not had much to do with OBD and cars. Also a bit of fuel tuning on bikes.

I downloaded the Px2 manual and found a page on turning off the seat belt reminder by a sequence of doing/undoing the belt which worked on the Ranger and the Escape.

In a few weeks i will have some spare time so will look into more mods. The TSR would be good and I will turn off the door chime in the Ranger. Probably look at putting climate up on the Sync 3 in the Escape but not a lot else while they are in warranty.

Anyway, appreciate the effort thats gone into this forum and organise to donate soon.

Cheers
