Aircon, no. There are multiple threads about this search.php?keywords=recirc
Ok I worked out how to unplug the recirc so it stays shut all the time. However now I'm getting a few error codes. Is there any way to disable them so that the mechanics at the dealer don't try to "fix" it when i get a service?

They won't even plug in to see them and if they do for some reason they will close their eyes and move on because you have not made a complaint.

They are not visible on the cluster so I would ignore it.

The FCIM has no option to programmability turn off the DTCs.

Hi guys, i want to enable the 4x4 screens, climat menu and a few other things but i don't have all the options in the non asbuilt menus like you all seem to. Anywhere I can find the asbuilt list?

Please check you are using the latest version of Forscan. There is no reason you should not see them in a 2015 XLT PX2.

If you still have problems, please post some screen shots showing the asbuilt/non asbuilt area.

Thanks.

Done a great job in making this user friendly! does this menu work similar with all Fords or just rangers?

Hey, all. So, I did several changes in the as built that worked as it should. However, I have 2 that aren't. 1 is that the turn signal flashes don't change no matter what I enter. 2 I've enabled climate on the right screen, left hand drive, but it doesn't change. You can see, select and click changes to the temp and fan but it reverts to what it's been set to on the SYNC 3 or manual buttons within 2 seconds or so. USA 2019 Ranger Lariat.

As per our PMs, your SCCM is different and is different to any other Ford I have seen so far. So you will have to go back to old school way for now and do one change at a time. Personally, I would back up first. Go through and look for 6 or 7's and change them all to A. If you're lucky it will still write. Test and see if you get a change. If you do then start reversing what you change, a few at a time until you find the offending bit. There is no info on this SCCM at the moment but hopefully will be soon.

Different FCIM on those also. Have you checked that dual zone is turned off on Sync 3?

I'll hold off on the turn signals as I don't have that much time on my hands.

I haven't looked on the dual climate but I don't think I've touched. That. I'll have a look. Thanks.

I went and checked. It doesn't make any changes to the temp or fan speed in either dual or not configuration.

Anyone know if there's an as built change to remove the heated seat memory for 2019 USA Ranger? My Fusion stays off after you turn off the vehicle. The Ranger does not. You have to cycle through the button to shut it off if you forget when you come back.

Hi Stewart,

I decided to enable the DTE sensitivity menu just to see if I could on my Ranger.
Turns out I can. :)
However, the DTE was indicating 936km before the change as I had filled up yesterday.
After enabling the DTE sensitivity menu this number changed to 1035km with DTE on standard!
I went back and disabled DTE sensitivity menu and the DTE value remains at 1035km.
Any idea why?
Consumption figures have all changed on both the trip 1 and 2 menus.
With that code change the consumption changed from 8.1l/100 to 7.7l/100

Hopefully this recalibrates itself.

It will recalibrate.

I don't use the menu personally but it you want to reset to zero then remove the battery terminal for awhile. You will the team 1999 DTE for 2 or 3 days until to calibrated the long term fuel usage.

Hi Stewart,

Did the recirc vent unplug above months ago and has the same fault codes, cleared and came back so no big deal.
Had a Ford service and thought they would see fault and plug back in as it had a new map update (still not up to date with the last years road changes)
but now no fault codes and not plugged in, can Ford disable fault codes or remove a fault from coming up?

No, they have no control over it. Are you sure you have turned you recirc on and off as the fault may not occur until such time?

A map update does not entail plugging into the vehicle so they would not have seen the fault anyway, what version maps btw?

Weird oblink cant see the fault anymore where it did before but once Forscan scanned it sees vent fault which is fine. Not sure version have not checked about. They did update last year so not even sure there was another one out, still not updated local intersection 8 months old

I got a question for you.
With the Entertainment mode will I be able to add my phone and an USB stick to the menu?
At the moment I have only the radio stations - am, fm and dab, if I am not mistaken.

Phone is not in the entertainment area it is at the root of the menu and under Entertainment from memory. Enable it in the non asbuilt IPC.

USB should show automagically I think. I would go and check but will get rained on.

When I said phone I actually meant to see it as an option for playing music from it. Bluetooth source type.
Otherwise, yes, it is in the root menu, but that is for calls.

My iPhone shows up in the source options only when the Bluetooth is active or I have it connected via USB. As soon as I disconnect the phone, it disappears from the available music options.

I guess I should verify before I start writing like I actually know something.

I attached three images of my Sync3 display showing how it changes when the iPhone is connected.

This shows the display without the Bluetooth turned on or the phone connected via the USB. This clearly shows BT as an option.

Hey MikeK, thanks for the manual and for the time preparing it. This was of course well known, I was rather asking for the IPC display on the right.
In particular, Entertainment menu. Sometimes, I am lazy and would like to keep my hands on the wheel and still be able to change the entertainment source. So I went to the Ranger and checked, well it's there, one just has to keep "scrolling" and Phone and USB will be shown up. If you do not scroll, just AM, FM, DAB are visible :)

Is this correct, no postings in year 2020?
Have a 2018 Ranger, friend wants his Everest late 2019 long range tank re calibrated, can i just plug my computer into his vehicle and use the settings in the lappy/forscan with out doing any damage or other alterations to his vehicle other than the tank, ie the settings as per the Ranger do not carry over!
Secondly is it now just a matter of altering a figure, eg 80 l to 125 l?
thanks in advance
