I assume you tried cycling the ignition. It is quite common error and mine did it again 2 times on the way and way back from SA.

Hi Stewart,
Yep Cycled the ignition ( Not the first time this has happened), Disconnected plug on Radar and cycled ign, disconnected battery. Cleaned Radar ( was clean and dust Free) Still Nothing Probably need radar aligned by Ford after Bull Bar Install ...
Had been working fine till I got to Whyalla - over 2500 Km done..

About to install latest ForScan now i`m home and clear DTC.

Cheers
Wayne

When I first got my PX2 XLT i had the same problem on a few occasions. Always after start up and a restart would solve the issue. It has not happened for a long time.

I also had a problem from new where the Forward collision alert was useless. It turned out to be the number plate surround was just in the road of the radar. That is a genuine bullbar. So worth checking if you have just had the bar fitted prior to the problem.

It will make no difference if DTC stays or is cleared.

Twice in last 5000k is ok but still not ideal but on the way back while driving I did a CCM module reset while driving which got it up and running again and meant I did not have to stop.

I may think about adding a button inline with power to the CCM to break power to the radar which is the same as a reset and means not having to pull over.
