Throttle Position 99.6%

Hey guys,

I’ve installed a 4wdSupacentre Engine Data Scan in a 2019 Wildtrak and have noticed the TP rarely moves from 99.6?

On a few occasions whilst on a flat road and on cruise control at 100kmh the TP, Load and Map values reduced significantly with a resultant drop in L/100km.

I’m curious to know which value is the cause? Is it the TP motor sticking? Is it the TP feedback sticking? Is it the calculated load value from the ECU? I haven’t looked at the MAF in correlation as yet.

Has anyone had any feedback from Ford or knowledge of why this happens?

There are multiple throttle position PIDS. Assumption is the PID that is in that gauge is not the correct one to be looking at.

I do not have time right now to pull the correct PID you need but if you have Forscan you will see all the below in relation to throttle.

TAC_PCT % Commanded Throttle Actuator Control
THR_MTR_SIG % Throttle Motor PWM Signal - Commanded
TP % Throttle Position
TP_REL % Relative Throttle Position

Thanks mate, I’m new to this but will look into Forscan. 👍
