For those seeking knowledge.

This doc has so much information. I find the FPBG very interesting and may look into it in the future.

Electrical section is your friend FPBG is around page 119. Although there is a lot of additional information that does apply to our vehicles.

This is what the Ranger Body and Equipment manual should have been.

Further reading you will max current draw from all BCM and TRM outputs. NOTE the 10amp max draw on the charging wire from the trailer module. I knew it was there but did not know what it was really rated to.

The way I read the document, the FPBG is a programable VSR. If anybody is using a VSR to charge an auxilliary battery and is worried about low output from alternator due to shunt, turn headlights ON. Voltage will now stay above VSR cut-off voltage.
