Okay, so I have my "dongle" what is meant by the following terms :-
MS CAN
HS CAN
OBD
USB -- I"m assuming this means the USB plug on the end of the cable and excuse the fact that I'm computer illiterate

MS CAN = medium speed canbus
HS Can = high speed canbus
OBD = on board diagnostics
USB = universial serial bus, that would be the plug on the cable.

Tony, Thank you for that, so what is a canbus ? This is getting quite serious its obviously far more advanced than my 50 year old trusty engineering slide rule and abacus !
